If I have anything in the oven and I open the oven door, it goes off. And, it's VERY LOUD. It's a wonder my neighbors don't complain. I just don't understand it, Martha. I keep my stove immaculate. I watch what I cook to make sure nothing burns, let alone sticks, and that squawking thing still goes off. If you could tell me why this alarm goes off when there isn't an iota of smoke around, maybe we can do something about it. R.T.B. -
