Summary:Middlesex County employees set up picket lines at the Middlesex County [Leo McGrath] said union members also are angry about an alleged mixup in the 1981 Middlesex County budget that will result in a six-month delay of this year's wage increase. McGrath said the money owed employees was to be allocated in the fiscal 1981 county budget. However, he said, the authorization for the money was "lost in a maze somewhere at the State House and the county budget for this year is closed." The employees will now have to wait for the fiscal 1982 budget, McGrath said.
