Summary:Police have arrested a seventh Granger High School football player in connection with a string of armed robberies in Salt Lake County during the past four months. District Attorney Neil Gunnarson said Thursday the 17-year-old boy is in the Salt Lake Detention Center where six other players are being held. Police were looking for an eighth player and three other Granger High students for questioning. Prosecutors and police from Salt Lake County, Salt Lake City, Murray, West Valley City and South Salt Lake met Thursday afternoon to review up to 18 robberies, Gunnarson said. Charges were expected to be filed with 3rd District Court today.
