Summary:No bombs went off in Salt Lake City on Thursday as a letter indicated they would, but FBI agents are taking the threat seriously enough to send information about it to Washington. Contents of the letter, which said a bomb would go off in Salt Lake City on Thursday, may also be sent to investigators in the Oklahoma bombing, said FBI Special Agent Tom Ernst. The letter, sent to FBI agents, said three bombs would go off in the United States -- one of them in Salt Lake City, the other two in unnamed cities. The letter did not mention which building the bomb was in, but it did make a reference to the April 19 Oklahoma City bombing, which killed 167 people.
