Summary:[David Susskind]'s films included "A Raisin in the Sun," "Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore" and "Fort Apache, the Bronx." On television, he produced dramas such as "Eleanor and Franklin" and "Death of a Salesman" as well as series such as "Alice," "Get Smart" and "N.Y.P.D." Susskind, who was born in New York, grew up in Brookline, Mass., and graduated from Harvard College in 1942, first appeared on television as an interviewer in 1958 on "Open End," a late-night, local New York City talk show without set time limits.
