Mr. Morrow began his career as a reporter for The Centre Daily Times in State College, Pa., in 1935. He worked for various newspapers before joining The Philadelphia Inquirer in 1939. From 1946 to 1957, he was an associate editor of The Saturday Evening Post, based in Washington.
