Summary:Gary Hart on Friday challenged Iowa caucus-goers to "take back power at the grass roots level" by supporting his candidacy in that state's first-in- the-nation presidential nominating test next month. The Democrat stopped in Chicago en route to Davenport, Ia., for his first foray into the crucial caucus state since re-entering the presidential campaign Dec. 15. The Iowa front-runner in recent polls, Hart said he will spend two days there before returning Sunday to New Hampshire. Hart, joined by his wife Lee, appeared to relish the spartan nature of his new campaign, riding the Congress-O'Hare rapid transit into the Loop from O'Hare International Airport for a brief meeting with Illinois supporters and telling them that his situation necessitated a new message in Iowa.
