Summary:Jane Fonda is at it again. Hanoi Jane has now become Baghdad Betty, as she will soon launch a bus tour through the United States to protest the war in Iraq ["Fonda takes on a new war," News, July 26]. At least this time Fonda is picking a cause the American people endorse, as support for U.S. military involvement in Iraq has been steadily dwindling, as it is becoming an increasingly unpopular war, and as the soldier body count mounts with no end in sight. I am glad Fonda is using better judgment this time, and is traveling to garner citizen backing, rather than cavorting with the enemy, as she did in the Vietnam War.
