Summary:Meanwhile, trying to get a jump on his opponents, [Jerry Brown] spent the entire day in Michigan, but if Super Tuesday was supposed to breathe some spring air into the winter-weary primaries, he found himself in the thick of a midwest snowstorm. By mid-day yesterday, as much as 13 inches of snow had fallen on parts of Michigan, and while the blanket wasn't enough to stymie Brown's campaigning, it did alter his election night plans. According to campaign spokesman John Flynn - speaking from Brown's Southern California headquarters - the candidate, snowed in in Detroit, had to scrap his plans to await returns at the Flint campus of the University of Michigan. Instead, the Brown entourage opted for a symbolically significant election-night rally at the United Auto Workers' Hall in Detroit. 1) AP Photo- Brown at campaign stop in Boston on Monday 2) AP Photo-On Campus.
