Summary:The Animal Farm Petting Zoo, a nonprofit organization, features farm animals plus monkeys, deer and llamas. Hourly events include a puppet show, hands-on animal demonstration and, this weekend, "Cowboy Joe Phillips Show" (trick horse and trick dogs). Facilities include rides, playground and a lollipop driving course (ages 2-11 drive motorized vehicles) Hours: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. seven days a week. Admission: $7 adults, $5 children and seniors, under 2 free; 878-1785. 3. Old-fashioned Amusements Long Island has its own major amusement park in Farmingdale. Adventureland, at 2245 Rte. 110, has 24 rides and attractions, including 11 kiddie rides and one roller-coaster. The 13-acre facility can easily occupy an afternoon. If it doesn't, miniature golf also is offered. Admission is free but ride tickets are $12.95 for unlimited riding, $8.95 for a book of 21 tickets (2-4 tickets per ride). Miniature golf is $4.80. Kiddie rides operate weekdays noon-5 p.m. The park also is open Fridays 6-midnight, Saturdays, noon-midnight, and Sundays noon-10 p.m. 4.
