Gurneys Inn in Montauk (Old Montauk Highway) is sponsoring its 27th annual Gala New Year's Eve Celebration. The price of $125.90 per person includes taxes and tips, 7 p.m. cocktails, hot and cold hors d'oeuvres (seafood, wok and pasta bars), two open bars, 9 p.m. sit-down dinner and two bands for nonstop dancing. After midnight, there's more dancing, toasting and nibbling, followed by a pre-dawn champagne breakfast. For those who don't want to drive home after all that drinking and eating, the hotel has multinight lodging packages. For those who would prefer to stay at nearby hotels, Gurneys will help partygoers find taxis. Reservations: 668-3203. A third party for $50 per person, goes from 8 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. and features live music by Evelyn King and Shana, a light dinner buffet, champagne toast, party favors, balloon drop and continental breakfast. And a fourth party for "VIPs" ($100 per person), 8 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., includes six hours of open bar, a light dinner buffet, hors d'oeuvres, party favors and continental breakfast. The Grand Ballroom Celebration, for $329 per couple, includes an overnight stay, dinner, dancing ('60s band) and five hours of open bar, champagne and continental breakfast. (Without the overnight stay, it's $170 per couple.) A Stratos Nightclub package for $210 per couple includes an overnight stay, music (disc jockey), champagne toast, party favors and continental breakfast (cash bar, dinner is $55 extra).
