Summary:Senior Andre Brown, standing tall at 6-foot-5, took advantage of the Tarpons' size advantage, scoring 23 points and grabbing 12 rebounds as he helped Charlotte (4-5) end its three game losing streak in the Class 5A-District 11 matchup. Charlotte led by 14 points at halftime, but the Mustangs came back to tie the game at 48 with five and a half minutes remaining as Charlotte began to turn the ball over. After that, the Mustangs went cold and the Tarpons made enough free throws to win, setting up a semifinal game against the winner of the late Booker-Dunedin game at 7:30 p.m. Monday.
