On Oct. 30, the Hamilton Wentworth Catholic District School Board held the second annual Walk with Christ: Justice for the Poor pilgrimage. This event was held to aid the less fortunate people of Haiti, Uganda and Dominican Republic. The turnout by the Cardinal Newman student body was phenomenal with approximately 250 to 300 students attending, the highest number of all the Catholic high schools.
