Speaking to Business Times after signing two memorandums of understanding with AmsComm Integraph Sdn Bhd and Wong Heng Engineering Sdn Bhd, respectively, he somehow indicated that Proton cars must try to be more competitive in prices. Saying that Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Mahathir Mohamad will launch the first Proton car to be produced in the Philippine in November, Peter was somehow confident that the car will gain popularity in the country.
