Summary:Washington -- U.S. retail sales rebounded in March, a month after snowstorms and an elevated terror alert thwarted shoppers and led to the biggest decrease since November 2001, economists said they expect a government report to show this week.Sales at the nation's retailers probably rose 0.6% after February's 1.6% slump, based on the median of 50 forecasts in a Bloomberg News survey of economists. The Commerce Department is expected to report the data Friday. The U.S. trade deficit in goods and services probably widened in February to $42.0 billion from $41.1 billion, according to economists. The value of imported petroleum probably increased as oil prices rose as high as $37.70 a barrel, based on New York futures, from $33.51 at the end of January.
