Payrolls fell 38,000 after a 308,000 slump the previous month, economists said they expect the Labor Department to report Friday. Manufacturers probably reduced payrolls by 38,000 in March after a decline of 53,000 in February, economists expect the jobs statistics to show. It would be a 32nd straight month of job losses in heavy industry. The projections are based on the median of 56 forecasts.
