Haruf, who also is the author of "Where You Once Belonged," teaches at Southern Illinois University and lives with his wife, Cathy, in Murphysboro, Ill. First-time novelist [Patricia] Henley teaches in Purdue University's MFA Creative Writing Program. She is the author of two collections of short stories, "Friday Night at Silver Star" and "The Secret of Cartwheels," and a book of poems, "Back Roads." Her stories have appeared in Best American Short Stories and the Pushcart Anthology. |
