When one couple recently moved to Phoenix, the dog park friends held a going-away party. When another dog owner died this past spring, they collected money and purchased a bench for the park dedicated to his memory. Late this summer, when this group of friends discovered that one couple Diana Jacobs, 38, a physician in family practice at St. Mary's Medical Clinic, and Terry Jacobs, 37, a veterinarian at Park Pet Hospital in Milwaukee were going to have their first baby, nine of the friends decided to make the parents-to-be a quilt as a surprise gift. |
