Summary:Lowery impressed: Steve Lowery played the final round with Jerry Kelly of Madison, who shot a 64 and lost in a playoff to Loren Roberts. Lowery was impressed with the way Kelly, a PGA Tour rookie, handled the pressure. Although the GMO doesn't announce attendance figures, [Fran Croak] said the walk-up revenue Friday was $1,600 more than it was for the same date last year. John Daly was the featured attraction last year and, of course, [Tiger Woods] was the tournament's biggest draw this year. "We had a major company call us midway through the tournament and say they would like to play a large role in the tournament next year," Croak said, declining to name the company. "That's never happened before but it gives you some indication of how the event is being received." The fans who showed up to follow Woods when he teed off at 8:28 a.m. at the Brown Deer Park Golf Course got a treat when he played the 202-yard 14th hole. Woods recorded the fourth ace of the tournament and the ninth of his life.
