Summary:Mayor David M. Kieck has angrily accused Ald. John Logic, his opponent in the March 19 general election, of being involved in the publication of an underground paper that blasts Kieck on city spending issues. Kieck said that if Logic was not responsible for the publication he should come forward and publicly denounce it. The publication is a one-page paper that blatantly criticizes Kieck. Residents have reported finding the publication on their windshields when they emerge from church. Kieck's backers say they have received the Underground though the mail.
