Summary: | James Cameron wept Sunday as he pulled the cloth from the most recent addition to America's Black Holocaust Museum a powerful painting depicting the lynching of a black man. Cameron, who celebrated his 82nd birthday at the event, was almost lynched 65 years ago when he and two acquaintances were arrested for allegedly killing a white man and raping his companion in Marion, Ind. Cameron was eventually acquitted of the crime after the woman testified that there had been no rape and that Cameron hadn't been involved in the murder.
