Summary:[Aaron J. Klein], an Israeli who is the military and intelligence affairs correspondent in Time magazine's Jerusalem bureau and a former consultant for CNN, tells the complex tale of the horrific murders and the Israeli response, a mission not complete to this day. A secret unit of Israel's counter-terrorism and intelligence service, Mossad, was formed to hunt down and kill the assassins, but the story of its successes and failures has not been fully told. Klein's book tells who was killed and how, describes attempts to assassinate Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat and explores Mossad's little- understood role in targeting other terrorists. Already in the fast-moving drama, [Darwyn Al- Sayeed]'s chief FBI contact, Ray Fuller (James LeGros), has been killed by an Afghan warrior Darwyn was trying to free from the cell. His contact now is Patrice Serxner (Sonya Walger), who tangled with a local police officer whose meddling nearly threatened the whole operation. But she hasn't heard from Darwyn in a few days, and "Youmud Din" -- Judgment Day -- is fast approaching; because of a misreading of the Arabic calendar, it's a day earlier than expected.
