Summary:Photos: (1 color), Jay L. Clendenin / The Hartford Courant Photos: (1 color), Alan Chaniewski / The Hartford Courant; A RAINBOW is cast across the scene as Hartford firefighters work to put out a fire at an abandoned building at 149-151 Lawrence St. in Hartford's Frog Hollow neighborhood Wednesday morning. State arson investigators were trying to determine the cause of the suspicious fire. RESIDENTS of 155 Lawrence St. watch firefighters try to save their house as fire ravages a nearby building. They are, from left, Takisha Rodriguez, Carmen Perez and Hernan Gonzales, 12, holding Tiger, a dog he rescued. The Hartford Fire Department called for aid from nearby towns around 10 a.m. and had the blaze under control by 10:30 a.m. Crews from East Hartford and West Hartford provided mutual aid. Wednesday's blaze was the fourth multiple-alarm fire in the city in the past week since the department took over first responder duties in medical emergencies.
