I went to the office, sat down in the waiting area and pulled out the book I had brought, comfortable in the knowledge that I had 30 minutes of uninterrupted reading ahead of me. One of the janitors walked by and cocked his head quizzically. "Got a meeting," I explained. He left. We walked out into the parking lot. There were two cars there, hers and mine. I walked over to my car, stood there and looked back at my wife, smiling back at me, and I laughed and laughed.
