Summary: | "There are some things about [Mary] that are nothing like me. If Iwas the owner of an inn facing foreclosure, as she is, I'd try to do something about it. But nothing bothers Mary. She thinks all she has to do is sing a song about the sky being blue and everything will be OK," [Sherry Sutter] says. Sutter served as vocal director last summer when Trotwood Circle Theatre II presented Big River. (The II signifies that the community theatre was reborn three years ago after a period of inactivity.) Other characters in the play include Mary's Indian father (separated from her parents as a child, she was found and raised by the Indians), her love interest, big Jim Warington of the forest rangers, and assorted other rangers and Indians. |
