They are hosting a meeting Wednesday in Vancouver to gather public comment on how to bring the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site, created in 1943, into the future. Along with park attendance, other issues to be addressed Wednesday include: pedestrian access; interpretation and resource management, including the National Park Service's role in relation to the Vancouver National Historic Reserve; park maintenance and sustainability; and restoring the cultural landscape.
