Summary:[JONATHAN COE] was born in Birmingham in 1961. He was educated at King Edward VI School, Birmingham, and at Trinity College, Cambridge. He began writing novels at 15 and published his first, The Accidental Woman, in 1987. He went on to win the 1995 John Llewellyn Rhys Prize and the French Prix du Meilleur Livre Etranger for What A Carve Up! His follow-up, The House Of Sleep, won the 1997 Writers' Guild Best Fiction Award. His sixth novel, The Rotters' Club, is out now in paperback. He is married with two daughters and lives in London.
