Driver didn't mean to hit woman: witness Final Edition

William Woods is accused of driving into Elaine Lindsay after an argument broke out. But witness Gail Brett testified by phone yesterday that while Mr. Woods, 61, was involved in a heated dispute with Ms. Lindsay, and did hit her with his car, it didn't seem deliberate.
