Of course, for kids the big lure is the free toy that accompanies their meal, and in all her glory, there she appeared ... Barbie, in a pink tutu, bursting forth from a pink plastic birthday cake complete with rotating platform. Among the fries and cheeseburger and ketchup, the icon of feminine perfection -- the body society worships, the image women brutalize themselves to achieve through diets, abusive exercise regimes, deprivation -- cheekily waved out at us.
