Cattle producers are voluntarily participating in projects that improve and increase habitat for species. A good example is the wetlands, woodlands and wildlife projects in Ontario. The federal and provincial governments are working with conservation groups, such as the Ontario Anglers and Hunters and the Ontario Cattlemen's Association, to make a difference.
