[Chris Cobb] mentions that Bluesfest may have outgrown Confederation Park. The park may not be the best location, but when one considers the VIP area on one side of the stage was occupying abundant prime space -- yet rarely had more than a couple of dozen people using the facility at any time -- no wonder the park seemed full. The organizers of this year's Bluesfest should be congratulated for providing an outstanding mix of entertainment for blues lovers. However, they must realize the growth and success of this festival is due to the paying customers. |
