Summary:After returning to Toronto in 1946, [Harold Strom] met his future wife, Gloria, on a blind date. He learned to drive - and persuaded his father-in-law to buy a car - so he and Gloria could travel to California for their honeymoon, beginning a lifelong passion for travel. Harold realized his goal of seeing all seven continents when he and Gloria visited Antarctica in 1998, the year of their 50th wedding anniversary. At 83, he set off again on one last trip, to China, Japan, South Korea and Taiwan.
