Summary: | I thought it was all right," [James Kaprielian] said. "I made an adjustment after the first inning, tried to stay fluid, get through the ball and command the fastball. I think I did a good job of attacking guys." The Yankees' first-round pick in 2015, Kaprielian is still "dusting off some of the rust" this fall, but his arm feels good and that's all he's worried about after his frustrating year. "It's unfortunate, but I don't consider this year a complete waste," Kaprielian said. "It was a mental test for me. Injuries happen, so for me to show up every day trying to stay positive, continuing to go through my rehab work, I think it will help me down the line." Kaprielian read a book, "The Obstacle is the Way" by Ryan Holiday, that resonated with him. |
