Summary:  "Both of these leaders have robust careers focusing on patient care, strategic growth planning and fostering relationships with employees and community members," Rob Fulbright, president and CEO of Adventist Health System's east Florida region, said in a prepared statement. [Ken Mattison] first broke the news to a group of people at a Flagler County Chamber of Commerce gathering Thursday morning. He said that Adventist Health System was looking for a CEO that was "seasoned" and that "could help bring the Florida Hospital New Smyrna into the family." "We're really sad to see him go, what a great asset he's been to our community and an all-around great guy," said Flagler County Commissioner Nate McLaughlin, who heard the news at the Chamber Common Ground breakfast. "His enthusiasm for the health and well-being of our community has been beyond admirable."
