Summary: | The sidewalk on Main Street is making some progress. One part is done and the second doesn't look too bad. Most of the old concrete is gone and half got refilled already. It is a bigger project than expected as there were way more layers of concrete found as thought. With the big jackhammer on the backhoe (is that the right word?) it didn't take long to crack it all up. It got a bit shaky in the restaurant, though. The problem was to haul the pieces away, as the dumpsite in Sedgewick was too muddy for the truck last week. Well, it will be worth it, I am sure it'll look great when it's done. |
