Summary:Stephen Burton, 41, was taken into custody without incident Sunday night, according to investigators. Burton's wife, Danecia Berrian Burton, 37, had been stabbed multiple times and is listed in critical condition at Albert Einstein Medical Center. Their 21-month old daughter was taken to St. Christopher's Hospital for Children. She is also in critical condition with a stab wound to the chest. The suspects have been identified as Samantha Angelo, 18, from the 2700 block of Edddington St., and Elijah Maddox, 18, from the 7100 block of N. 15th St. Maddox also was charged with an unrelated carjacking that happened in West Oak Lane on June 30. Last week Maddox was arrested along with two other people in connection with an unrelated robbery and carjacking that happened in the East Oak Lane section on June 30. The two additional suspects in that case were Sione Lee, 20, from the 7100 block of N. 15th St., and Briana Stewart, 18, from the 1900 block of E. Elkhart St. They were charged with robbery, conspiracy, identity theft and lengthy list of related offenses in that case.
