The float itself is topped with wildlife critters that represent the beauty of the town's natural landscape, while two slogans - "High River Strong" and "Working "The parade was a real opportunity to let communities outside of southern Alberta know that, no, we didn't float away, we're rebuilding, we're better than ever and to welcome people to come to High River," said [Joan Botkin]. "The Calgary Stampede was a real opportunity that we saw to let the world know and to say thank you."
