Summary:Walgreens and the National Urban League (NUL) announces the launch of the 2014 Walgreens Way to Well Health Tour with the National Urban League. For eight years, Walgreens and the NUL have conducted the community outreach program dedicated to providing free preventive and early detection health services to urban and minority communities across the country. Now through December, Walgreens will use the tour to provide free health tests, assessments, education and consulting services with a renewed commitment to the everyday health of Americans nationwide. For the past eight years, Walgreens and the NUL have partnered together on the community outreach program and since the tour's inception, Walgreens has financially contributed nearly $2 million to the NUL for the continued use in providing health services and awareness to their Urban League affiliates across the country. In seven years, the tour has administered more than half a million health tests valued at $11.9 million to communities throughout the United States.
