Summary:  Having a laugh just about sums it up. For my theory is British men are clueless about summer dressing because they rarely get to experiment in our inclement climate. So when the sun does shine, they panic and go on full fashion attack. By wearing kinky leopard print or screaming sunflowers they're laughing in the face of sartorial elegance because they're not sure what it is or how to get it, or even if they really want it. One thing's certain we won't be seeing our blokes in skirts on buses because that's not funny at all. But shorts per se are not offensive - I love to see a classy cargo or linen short revealing a nicelyturned ankle. No, this is about the type worn exclusively by British men and more importantly the coordinates they choose to wear with them. Would you ever see an Italian in shorts, black socks and trainers? Exactly.
