Summary:  [...]if you talk to food bank operators -- as a group of Star journalists did recently with Gleaners -- you would hear that they're stretched more than ever as they feed the hungry in a state where unemployment hovers above 8 percent, a level higher than the national average. Among those, the Indy Food Council, a coalition of agencies and nonprofits, is preparing to analyze our feed-the-hungry distribution system in an effort to improve the good work being done by individual organizations.
