| Summary: | In Rialto, with our two major freeways, we understand the importance of all this, and have made infrastructure improvements a major priority. Just this past week, we broke ground on the $15 million Pepper Avenue extension to the 210 Freeway which, along with the recently revamped Riverside Avenue interchange at the 10 Freeway, will create two important new points of entry into the city. A drive along the 210 Freeway reveals the fruits of those efforts. Landscaping upgrades along the freeway itself complement the vibrant retail centers that are sprouting up or in the planning stages at key interchanges. With the Pepper Avenue extension, we'll have four on- and offramps along the 210 and another major new connecting arterial all the way through to the 10 Freeway, greatly improving access to Arrowhead Medical Center, among other things. |
