Sn-[small beta] molecular sieve catalysed Baeyer-Villiger oxidation in ionic liquid at room temperature

Efficient oxidation of aryl ketones to esters at room temperature with 30% aqueous HO and catalytic Sn-[small beta]-molecular sieve in ionic liquid was established.
