Summary:This paper draws from research study based on the adaptation of the Excellence Project -- a reference study on public relations & organizational communication management -- developed by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC), in the decades of 1980 & 1990. The study sought to identify issues related to excellence in organizational communication & public relations, through an in depth analysis of 16 organizations operating in Portugal. Results identified a number of items (21 most relevant items) that translate the most significant difference between the best & worse organizations. Finally, it is argued that such issues are the most significant to achieve such ideal of communication. Adapted from the source document.
