Summary:Devised a technique to combine physicians' ratings of health symptoms and diseases on 4 health factors which were correlated with the Eysenck Personality Questionnaire. Found a negative relationship between neuroticism and cancer, and a positive relationship between neuroticism, stress-related symptoms, and cardiovascular symptoms. These variables only accounted for a small amount of the variance. (Abstract amended)
