Summary:A method called Virtual Assembly (VA) has been proposed so in order to reduce both the cycle and the cost of traditional Functional processing during the car trial production. Detailed process of VA has been analyzed by solving the key techniques such as jig deflection, Welding and multi-assembling station. The deflection from manufacturing and tooling are considered during the simulation. VA has been proved its feasibility by the case study in the trial-manufacture phase. The result shows that the accuracy of the model is high and it fits for the assembly variation a-nalysis of flexible panel parts.
