Summary:Originally developed in Scandinavia in the 1970s, TermoDeck is a low energy internal climate control system that uses standard prestressed concrete hollowcore flooring panels which contribute significantly to the high thermal mass of the building's structure. It works by circulating fresh air through the hollow cores, either warming or cooling the air depending on the time of day and year. The same air is then used to ventilate individual rooms.
