Eutectic-gradient wear resistance in materials

New iron-base eutectic powder alloys have been developed (Fe-Mn-C-B-Si-Ni-Al-Sc, Fe-Mn-C-B-Si-Cr-Al-Sc, Fe-Mn-C-B-Si-Ni-Cr-Al-Sc) for wear-resistant coatings. The thermodynamic affinity for oxygen has been used in the technology for alloying the liquid with the necessary elements. Substrate: St45.
