Summary:The Finnish pulsation magnetometer chain has been used in conjunction with the Polar spacecraft's Electric Field Instrument to study an EM ion cyclotron wave event. The waves were recorded at two frequency bands in several conjugate stations on the ground, and exhibited repetitive amplitude variations corresponding to Pc1 pearls. It is suggested that these waves are modulated by the simultaneous Pc4 waves that were similarly observed by this spacecraft and on the ground. (AIAA)
