Summary: | The Audit Committee has worked closely with staff and our auditors to ensure timely preparation and filing of audited financial statements. All aspects of receiving and disbursing our funds are carefully managed by staff, and we always anticipate securing the coveted "clean opinion" from our auditors, but nothing is guaranteed until the audited financial statements are approved. Thank you to the staff, including Tony Thurman, Abigail Loyal, Erik Eickhoff and Eric Birk, working closely with James Thomashower; thank you to Ron Krebs and Ron Vanderwest, who have recently rotated off the Finance and Development Committee for some well-earned rest; and special thanks to my colleagues currently serving on the F&D Committee: Ed Maki-Schramm and Jeff Verkuilen, who also serves on the Audit Committee. |
