Summary:The compact Cu-Ni ore is used in the quality estimation of the oxidizing and nonoxidizing dissolution role of sulfide minerals in nonoxidizing acid. It is shown that the redox reactions make the substantial contribution into process of sulfide dissolution even in the solution of nonoxidizing acid. An appreciable role of electrochemical process mechanism is ascertained. The amount of metals passing into solution is disproportional to amount of reacting sulfur in both experiments on ores processing in the air and argon atmospheres.
